Parenting a bipolar child

My husband and I are at odds over our daughter who is bipolar. He wants her to go to school a full day and not be disrespectful. These of course are the norm for a normal child. She is going a half day now but even that is a great source of anxiety for her. We are on the verge of divorce wtih me and homeschooling. The school is working with us, we just had an MFE done, and they are working on the IEP. They also want her to be at school full day and I pretty much told them at the MFE that just would not happen.

She is almost 13, was hospitalized at 11, and is not stable, even with meds. Her illness has been evident since toddler hood.
